Jason Stopa

Jason Stopa is an oil painter exploring utopian architecture, geometric abstraction, and the tactile qualities of sensual forms.

By using monolithic forms and referencing historical color usage, he alludes to the rigidity often associated with utopian visions. Simultaneously, Stopa challenges these ideas by creating tension through the interplay of structured geometry and organic shapes. The emphasis on touch and surface quality in his work aims to engage the viewer's sensory experience.
