Martha Poggioli is an interdisciplinary artist and designer exploring systems of production and cultures of consumption.
Her current work investigates the legacies of intellectual property and industrial design in health with a focus on contraceptive, prosthetic, and surgical devices. Her research-based practice starts with the cataloguing, mapping, and deconstructing of reproductive technologies and their history before reinterpreting these objects and information into new sculptural forms.
